Job summary

The Lanes Group Plc is seeking a CCTV Engineer to measure pipe dimensions, inspect for damages, and record findings using CCTV equipment. Initially you’ll access pipes via manhole covers and then perform most tasks from a company van equipped with CCTV and a computer system.

You will log work on a tablet and compile essential paperwork to report to clients, with roles requiring attention to detail and a willingness to work in a hands-on, field-based environment across the UK.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is required.
• Ability to work in a 2 person team.
• IT skills including Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• OX19 Preferrable
• CSCS Card Preferrable

Responsibilities

• Record debris or grease build up and damages observed using CCTV equipment.
• Carry out most work from the van equipped with CCTV and computer system.
• Use a tablet to log field work and report back to clients.

Job description

Responsibilities

• You will use the CCTV equipment to measure the heights and depths of the pipe, as well as to check for any damages that needs to be recorded i.e. debris in the pipe or grease build up.
• Initially the role will involve, you accessing the pipe via manhole covers to put the CCTV camera down the pipe with accuracy.
• You will then carry out majority of the work from your van which has been installed with the CCTV and computer system for you to carry out the work.
• You will be using a tablet to keep records of the work you are carrying out which involves crucial paperwork to be carried out as this needs to be reporting back to the clients you are carrying out the work on behalf of.
