Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CCTV Drainage Engineer at Drains UK 2000 Ltd, located in York.

About the Role:

• Location: York, covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

• Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, overtime expected when required.

• Rate of pay: dependent on experience

• You will be already be trained and familiar with CCTV drainage investigation equipment to enable accurate coding to the water industry standards.

• Consideration will be given to semi skilled CCTV drainage equipment operatives.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Be experienced in the drainage trade

• Receiving work instructions/mapping and delivering on clients’ requests.

• Extensive knowledge using Minicam system and to be able to Quality check and produce high standard Survey reports. (or equivalent)

• Identifying opportunities for further works ie. Patching/Line Cleaning etc

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence

• Be well organised and have a positive attitude

• Strong work ethic

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 2 years CCTV Drainage Engineer experience

• OS19X: Pipe Sewer Condition Classification' and/or 'OS24: Drain & Sewer Inspection' qualifications preferred but not essential - training will be provided.

• Experience in all aspects of above and below ground drainage systems, blockage clearance, mechanical and HPWJ.

• Water jetting Safety Awareness and Drain & Sewer Cleaning' qualification preferred but not essential - training will be provided.
