Equans is hiring a CCTV Control Room Operator for the National Operations Centre in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is permanent, 42 hours per week, with a 24/7 shift pattern (0700-1900 then 1900-0700, four days on, four off). The salary is £29,455.58 per year plus a benefits package.

Responsibilities include CCTV verification, alarm activations, and incident escalation. Candidate requirements include GCSEs in Maths and English (C or above), strong IT skills with Office 365, and experience in incident

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE Grade C and above.
• An excellent working knowledge of IT with MS Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word).
• Experience in incident management / command and control operations.
• CCTV & access control knowledge and understanding of CCTV operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage site alarm activations and CCTV verification, escalating appropriately.
• Respond to Facilities Management Helpdesk and QSE Incident Reporting Hotline when required.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and gather evidential information.
• Contribute to incident management / command and control operations.
• Support 24/7 shift pattern and ensure continuity of service.

Must have experience with the Microsoft Office 365 package including MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel & Word.Experience of contributing to incident management /command and control operations.Previous security or service desk experience and experience / training in fire safety and first aid.Previous CCTV & access control knowledge. An understanding of CCTV operations and equipment.Excellent communication skills, including high standards of written and spoken English.
