Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS systems. This is a permanent night shift role, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Performing planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolutions

Ideal candidate profile:

This is an entry-level role suited for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Familiarity with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
