Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (London, United Kingdom, On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Conduct planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
  • Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
