Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Solihull is seeking an Installation Engineer to enable the seamless installation of our access control systems, CCTV, fire alarms, and cabling. You will manage van stock, ensure safety standards, and maintain strong customer relations during site visits.

The role requires hands-on electrical and networking knowledge, a valid driver’s licence, and relevant certifications. A demanding but rewarding field-based position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• - Access Control, CCTV, or fire and security knowledge is mandatory.
• - Green CSCS OR ECS card and valid driver's licence.
• - A good understanding of electrical wiring and equipment, networking, and routing is a plus.
• - IPAF, PASMA and 3-day first aid is nice to have.
• - Experience of engaging with customers in a pressured environment is preferable.

Responsibilities

• - Installation of access control systems, CCTV, fire alarms, and structured network cabling.
• - Manage van stock, including monitoring inventory levels and ordering replacement stock with Stores Team.
• - Maintain exemplary on-site standards and build rapport with customers.
• - Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety and Environmental regulations on site.
• - Attendance, commissioning of installation visits, and testing with Technical Support.
