Job summary

The Service Engineer - North East role in Solihull reports to the CCTV & Service Supervisor and focuses on installing the full portfolio of ASSA ABLOY products, including access control, CCTV and wired/wireless systems. You will test, commission, and sign off installations in collaboration with Technical Support, while maintaining safety standards and excellent customer relations.

Qualifications

• Access control, CCTV, or fire and security knowledge is mandatory.
• Construction industry knowledge is a plus.
• Green CSCS or ECS card and a valid driver’s licence.
• IPAF, PASMA and 3‑day first aid are nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission the full portfolio of products during visits.
• Attend, complete and test installations with technical sign-off in collaboration with Technical Support.
• Install access control, CCTV, fire alarms, and structured network cabling.
• Manage van stock and coordinate stock orders with Stores Team.
• Maintain high on-site standards and customer rapport; adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations.
