Job summary

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust seeks an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join a forward-thinking team providing Step 3 diagnostic assessments and evidence-based CBT for adults with depression and anxiety.

You will also support supervision for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and trainees while contributing to service development and CPD opportunities within flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment within NHS Talking Therapies.
• Experience in establishing DSM-V diagnoses and clinical formulation.
• Proficient in CBT for common mental health problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychology assessment and therapy for anxiety and depression within NHS Talking Therapies.
• Offer advice and consultation on patients' psychological care to the team and carers; supervise trainees as needed.
• Work within NICE guidance and service policies; deliver 20 attended clinical contacts per week if full-time.
