Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking an experienced Civil Enforcement Officer (CEOs) with a valid CBT licence to join the Highways, Traffic & Parking team in Romford. You will enforce parking regulations, issue PCNs, and assist with maintaining safe streets across the borough.

The role requires 1 year of civil parking enforcement experience, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CBT licence.
• Must have at least 1 year experience in civil parking enforcement.
• Good knowledge of parking legislation and enforcement procedures.
• Experience issuing PCNs and using handheld equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident handling conflict and challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Comfortable using handheld devices, enforcement software and body-worn cameras.
• Understanding of lone-working and health and safety procedures.
• DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Patrol on- and off-street parking areas on foot, bike, or in a Council vehicle.
• Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) in line with legislation and policies.
• Operate handheld enforcement equipment and body-worn cameras.
• Maintain accurate records of enforcement activity.
• Respond to public inquiries in a professional manner.
• Report signage issues, abandoned vehicles, hazards.
• Attend team briefings and provide witness statements when required.
• Assist with investigations and enforcement inquiries.
• Follow health and safety procedures, particularly when working alone.
