Job summary

Gordonmoody in Redditch is seeking a Gambling Wellbeing Practitioner to join our clinical team. You will work with the Clinical Lead, CBT Therapists, Gambling Therapists, Recovery Workers and external partners to support individuals experiencing gambling-related harm.

This role focuses on delivering evidence-based, psychologically informed CBT interventions that promote recovery, emotional well-being, social inclusion and positive long-term outcomes.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in CBT.
• Experience supporting mental health, addiction, or complex emotional needs.
• Experience delivering structured wellbeing interventions.
• Experience in health, social care, charity, or community settings.
• Experience managing and prioritising a caseload.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellbeing interventions for individuals affected by gambling harm.
• Support assessments and formulate emotional, psychological, and social needs.
• Help service users set goals and recovery-focused care plans.
• Deliver short-term interventions within treatment pathways.
• Encourage engagement with treatment, peer support and recovery activities.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in supervision.
