Job summary

City St George’s, University of London is seeking a skilled professional to maintain the quality and educational value of Case-Based Learning (CBL) within the MBBS Year 1 and 2 curriculum. You will review feedback, ensure cases are accurate and evidence-based, and align them with learning outcomes and curriculum developments.

You will also design SBA questions and collaborate with module convenors to develop new cases and resources while contributing to QA activities and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience creating course materials and resources
• Knowledge of curriculum alignment and design of case-based learning materials
• Understanding of the MBBS Curriculum
• Accurate worker with high attention to detail including under pressure
• Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders and follow agreed strategy
• Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills
• Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems

Responsibilities

• Review student and tutor feedback and implement improvements to CBL cases with module convenors and subject experts
• Ensure cases are clinically and scientifically accurate, evidence-based and aligned with current guidelines
• Maintain alignment between cases, learning outcomes, and curriculum developments
• Support curriculum enhancement through innovation and best practice in CBL delivery
• Collaborate in developing new cases and learning resources
• Contribute to quality assurance and review activities within agreed timelines
• Design Single best answer (SBA) questions aligned with CBL learning objectives
