Job summary

City St George’s, University of London is seeking a Curriculum Analyst in London to provide academic analysis and data tagging for the MBBS curriculum renewal. You will work in the Division of Medical Education within the Department of Medicine, engaging with educators to plan, model, and document curriculum updates and implementation.

The role requires a clinician or academic with a medicine-related degree, strong data analysis skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Clinician or academic with a degree in medicine or a relevant discipline.
• Experience working with an undergraduate medical curriculum.
• Ability to carry out academic analysis of large volumes of data.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with educational technologies desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in curriculum review and maintenance, modelling data entries in the Curriculum Management system.
• Meet educators to scope curriculum updates, quantify work and plan delivery.
• Perform academic analysis of curriculum data across the curriculum under review.
• Identify how curriculum data tagging should be modified to enable new functionality.
• Keep clear, contemporaneous records of analyses and findings.
• Present findings and justify positions using curriculum knowledge and business needs.
• Communicate with curriculum development manager and data officer for implementation after approval.
• Verify implementation aligns with original intent.
• Contribute to wholesale curriculum discussions based on deep data knowledge.
