Job summary

Gerrell & Hard Limited is seeking a CATIA V5 Design Engineer for a hybrid, initial 3-month contract near Billingshurst. The role focuses on heavy-duty mechanical design, chassis and powertrain components, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

The position is outside IR35 with a rate of £40–£45 per hour Ltd. You will work on challenging projects across defence, marine and automotive sectors, delivering detailed components and assemblies in CATIA V5.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical design experience using CATIA V5.
• Background in heavy-duty mechanical design.
• Experience designing complex mechanical components and systems.
• Chassis or powertrain design experience would transfer well.
• Hydraulics or pneumatics experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on mechanical design work focusing on heavy-duty systems.
• Develop and detail components for chassis, powertrain, and hydraulic/pneumatic subsystems.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams to deliver complex mechanical designs.
