Gerrell & Hard Limited is seeking a CATIA V5 Design Engineer for a hybrid, initial 3-month contract near Billingshurst. The role focuses on heavy-duty mechanical design, chassis and powertrain components, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

The position is outside IR35 with a rate of £40–£45 per hour Ltd. You will work on challenging projects across defence, marine and automotive sectors, delivering detailed components and assemblies in CATIA V5.

Competenze

• Strong mechanical design experience using CATIA V5.
• Background in heavy-duty mechanical design.
• Experience designing complex mechanical components and systems.
• Chassis or powertrain design experience would transfer well.
• Hydraulics or pneumatics experience would be advantageous.

CATIA V5 Design Engineer – Contract

We’re currently recruiting for a CATIA V5 Design Engineer to join an engineering team working across a range of projects within defence, marine and automotive.

The role will involve working on a range of complex engineering projects, with a strong focus on heavy-duty mechanical design and detailed component development.

The Role

This is a hands‑on mechanical design role suited to someone with a strong background in heavy-duty mechanical design and experience working with complex mechanical systems.

Your background could include the design of:

• Chassis systems
• Powertrain components
• Heavy-duty mechanical components
• Hydraulic or pneumatic systems

Experience with hydraulics and/or pneumatics would be particularly relevant.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced CATIA V5 Design Engineer with:
