Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Chippenham Campus, Wiltshire. This term-time-only role is Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, not including weekends. You will prepare, cook and present nutritionally balanced meals to high standards for pupils and staff.

• Prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure food safety and health & safety procedures are followed and paperwork completed accurately.
• Maintain Caterlink’s reputation for quality food and service with the client.
• Assist with inventories, budgets and action plans as directed by the line manager.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef at Chippenham Campus, Chipenham, Wiltshirewho wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £13.85per hour
• 35hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
