Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef for Oakley Secondary School in Bishops Tachbrook, Royal Leamington Spa. The role is term-time only, Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week, at £15.00 per hour with 39 teaching weeks per year.

You will prepare and present nutritionally balanced meals, ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed, manage inventories and budgets, and support the site team to deliver excellent food and service. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.

The role:

• £15.00 per hour
• 32.5hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – 39 working weeks per year
