Caterlink is hiring a Chef for Oakley Secondary School, Bishops Tachbrook, Royal Leamington Spa. The role is term-time only (39 weeks/year), Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week, at £15 per hour.

The job focuses on nutritious, tasty meals and requires adherence to safety and food standards. You will support the location's day-to-day operations, manage inventories and budgets, and help maintain Caterlink's reputation for quality food and service.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef at Oakley Secondary School, Bishops Tachbrook Royal Leamington Spa, who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £15.00 per hour
• 32.5 hours per week working Monday - Friday
• Term-time only - 39 working weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
