Home Bargains is hiring Catering Team Members for its Amesbury Distribution Centre. You will deliver professional service, assist with food preparation and presentation, and handle cash while ensuring food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum Level 2 Hygiene certificate and Level 2 Food Safety certificate.
• Knowledge of food production methods.
• Experience in a fast-paced catering or hospitality environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritise daily workload.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ambassador for Home Bargains function.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service and maintain customer and staff relations.

• Handle cash, stock control and stock taking.
• Keep kitchen and customer areas clean at all times.
• Prepare and present food to required standards.
• Record temperatures and follow safety procedures.

Job description

We are recruiting for a number of Catering Team Members to join our Catering Team in our Amesbury Distribution Centre. You will be responsible for the delivery of professional service at all times, as well as food preparation and presentation, cash handling and ensuring food safety compliance.,

• Maintain a professional customer and staff relationship
• Ensure the delivery of a professional service at all times
• Responsibility for cash handling, stock control and stock taking
• Ensure kitchen and customer areas are clean at all times
• Be responsible for the preparation and presentation of all food to the required standards
• Ensure compliance with all company administration and monitoring procedures:
• Recording of food temperatures
• Delivery records
• Recording of fridge and freezer temperatures
• Food storage and labelling in accordance with guidelines
• Daily administration of bookwork including Food Safety Diaries and allergen management including Natasha's law The ideal candidates will have experience within a fast paced catering or hospitality environment and feel passionate about providing customers with a great dining experience. You will be welcoming and approachable with excellent communication skills, acting as an ambassador for the function., Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

Employee Benefits

• £13.00 per hour (plus 19% night shift allowance paid between 10pm - 6am)
• NIGHT SHIFT ONLY
• 18 hours per week working any 3 nights out of 5 including weekends on a rotational basis
• Must be available to work between the hours of 23:00 hrs - 05:30 hrs
• Full-time employees receive 28 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to 33 days after 5 years of service. Annual leave is pro-rated for part-time or alternative working arrangements.
