Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations for Universities on a part-time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. The role involves ensuring kitchens and counters run smoothly and delivering exceptional food experiences.

Shifts are Mon-Fri (Full Time Days) with a 45.4 week per year term. You will lead teams, monitor KPIs, and uphold the Compass brand while progressing your catering career within a large, supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated individual eager to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train teams, leading from the front to enable everyone to excel.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
