Job summary

Otley Garden Centre is recruiting a Catering Supervisor to oversee the restaurant, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high standards in a freshly refurbished, modern setting. You will work closely with the Catering Manager and step up to lead the team when they’re not on site, maintaining exceptional customer service and operational performance.

Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced catering or hospitality environment.
Willingness to coach and develop staff.
Ability to manage rosters and scheduling.
Strong customer service skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Support the Catering Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant.
Lead the team on shift, delegate tasks, guide performance and keep on track.
Act as the eyes and ears of the operation, monitoring floor activity.
Ensure excellent customer service and confidently handle issues or complaints.
Coach, train and develop team members to maintain high standards.
Support rotas, absence management and team organisation.
Maintain cleanliness, food quality and service delivery standards.
Take ownership of the operation when the Catering Manager is off.
