Job summary

Impact Food Group is hiring a Catering Supervisor at Harvey Grammar School in Folkestone. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm (37.5 hours/week) for 37 weeks a year (term time plus inset days). Salary is £20,310.38 per annum.

You will support the Chef Manager in day‑to‑day kitchen operations, supervise a kitchen section, and lead a team to deliver high‑quality, hygienic service to students and staff. Benefits include free meals on shift and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a proactive, team‑focused approach.
• Experience in catering or retail is desirable.
• Attitude and willingness to learn are key.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a section of the kitchen under the Chef Manager.
• Lead and motivate team members during service.
• Deliver a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to customers.
• Assist with food preparation and snacks.
• Provide counter service and operate the till.
• Ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and compliant with hygiene standards.
