Location: Pembroke, Wales

Contract: Fixed term contract - start date pre 19th August

Salary: £13-£14 per hour (48hr per week, 4 days on/3 days off)

Are you a dynamic leader with a strong background in the catering industry, known for your ability to inspire teams and deliver first-rate service? We are seeking an enthusiastic Catering Supervisor to lead a vibrant 3-month daytime project in the scenic area of Pembroke, Wales.

As the Catering Supervisor , you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our daytime catering operations. This position involves managing a team of general assistants and overseeing the daily workflow to maintain high standards of service from morning to late afternoon. Your proactive management will be key to providing a seamless and efficient service that meets our quality expectations.

Job Description

  • Team Leadership: Guide and motivate a team of general assistants, promoting a collaborative and dedicated work environment.
  • Operational Management: Strategically assign and manage tasks to ensure efficient operations throughout the day.
  • Quality Control: Oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service, adhering to industry-leading standards.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism and care, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Monitor inventory levels and manage orders to maintain essential stock for daily operations.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

Proven Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within the catering industry is preferred.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage a diverse team.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Flexibility: Willingness to work various daytime shifts, as required by project needs.
