Job summary

East Riding Leisure Goole is recruiting 2 x 37-hour Catering Supervisors to join our catering team at the new ERL Goole facility. The roles involve supervising the café operations, working on a rota including weekends, early mornings and evenings, ahead of the facility opening in November 2026.

The successful candidates will lead staff, ensure high standards of customer service, maintain food hygiene, manage stock and assist with promotions and administrative tasks as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising catering staff.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience with recruitment and training of staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the new café to ensure excellent customer service.
• Recruit and train cafe staff.
• Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are met across all operations.
• Carry out stock taking and inventory management.
• Promote special offers and new menus to customers.
• Handle day-to-day financial and administrative tasks.
