Job summary

Benton Park School in Rawdon near Leeds is seeking a Catering Supervisor to manage the Sixth Form Café, ensuring safe, high-quality food preparation, service and customer care.

You will drive sales, monitor costs, and work 7am–3pm, Monday to Friday, supporting a vibrant school community and benefiting from development opportunities and pension provisions.

Qualifications

  • Manage day-to-day safe and effective operation of the Sixth Form Café.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards at every stage of catering process.
  • Drive sales and control costs to ensure the café's economic viability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee food prep, storage and service for the Sixth Form Café.
  • Ensure safe, clean and compliant operations in line with school policies.
  • Work Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm (37 hours per week).

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented colleague to join our vibrant and ambitious school as a Catering Supervisor. You would play a vital role in supporting our vibrant school community and helping to shape a strong, positive, and successful learning experience for all students.


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to:



  • Responsible for all aspects of managing the day to day safe andeffective operation of the Sixth Form Café, providing excellent customerservice and ensuring high standards at every stage of the catering process fromfood prep and storage to service.

  • The post holder will be instrumental in driving sales and controlling costs to ensure the economic viability of the café as a standalone entity.

  • Work Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am - 3pm (37 hrs per week)
