Oxford Lifelong Learning is seeking to appoint a Catering Supervisor to join our Catering Team.
A hands-on position in a friendly, supportive catering team. You’ll oversee day-to-day and work in the catering operations, support service delivery for events and conferences, and maintain high standards of customer care across multiple sites.You will work an average of five days out of seven, 36.5 hours per week. The normal hours of operation of the catering areaarefrom 7am to 10.30pm, with occasional events that exceed these hours.
This is a full-time position, available on a permanent contract.
Supervise the day-to-day catering operations across Rewley House and Ewert House, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
Support and motivate catering staff, providing guidance and ensuring effective teamwork.
Assist in organising and delivering catering for events, conferences, and daily service.
Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and customers to ensure smooth service delivery.
Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all catering areas.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Experience in the hospitality or catering sector in a customer-facing role
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive attitude toward customer service
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
