Job summary

Oxford Lifelong Learning is seeking a Catering Supervisor to join our catering team across Rewley House and Ewert House in Oxford. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support events and conferences, and maintain high standards of customer care across multiple sites.

The role is full-time with a 36.5 hour week, hours typically from 7am to 10.30pm, with occasional longer events. A permanent contract is offered with opportunities to contribute to a welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality or catering sector in a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day catering operations across Rewley House and Ewert House, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
• Support and motivate catering staff, providing guidance and ensuring effective teamwork.
• Assist in organising and delivering catering for events, conferences, and daily service.
• Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and customers to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all catering areas.
