Job Title: Catering Supervisor

Our Older People's Service is Rooted in Love, with core values of integrity, compassion, passion, respect, boldness, and accountability guiding everything we do.

As part of a team, the successful applicant will report to the Administration Manager and will be responsible for maintaining the catering service within the home to a high standard, including compliance with health & safety and hygiene regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line management and leadership of catering staff
• Oversee the quality of catering services
• Collaborate with care staff to involve residents in catering activities
• Manage staff, food ordering, delivery, storage, preparation, serving, presentation, cleaning, and general duties, including reporting and auditing

To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with older people, including those living with Dementia. Ability to work comfortably within a Christian environment, maintain professional boundaries, and align with Older People Services values are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of COSHH, the ability to work alone and under pressure, a flexible approach, and good time management skills. Training will be provided.
