OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Catering Operations Manager to lead contract catering teams across sites in the UK. You will design seasonal menus, manage staff and budgets, and ensure compliance with client expectations and regulations.

Responsibilities include training, vendor relations, and maintaining quality across services. The role requires strong leadership, client management, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contract catering operations and teams.
• Level 3 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent.
• Proven leadership to mentor and motivate a team.
• Strong client relationship building and service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good time management.

Responsabilités

• Work with the team to create seasonal food and drink menus for the site and any events for the client and its visitors
• Oversee all staff, ensuring that the team’s creations meet the client’s needs. They must also ensure that all legal and company requirements are meet daily
• Train team members on menus, serving procedures, company etiquette, safety standards and regulations
• Recruit new staff to meet workload demands
• Work within budgets set by line manager when planning catering operations, allocating budget for food, equipment, staffing and equipment
• Establish relationships with vendors and ensure purchases from the correct vendor at best prices
