Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an experienced Catering Manager to oversee all catering and service operations on a full-time basis at our site in Brentwood.

You will ensure kitchens and counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences while leading teams and managing inventories. We offer strong training, a supportive environment, and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Demonstrate strong financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable food and service.
• Overseeing in-unit operations, inventories, budgets and action plans.
• Reporting KPIs and targets to line manager.
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Identifying opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales.
• Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams to excel in their roles.
