ISS Facility Services UK is seeking a Catering Manager to lead a busy café operation at Horizon House, Bristol. You will take full responsibility for daily running, oversee a small team, and stay hands-on with food preparation and service.

You’ll ensure top-quality food, exceptional customer service, and strong financial performance while maintaining food safety and safety compliance across the operation. This role offers a balanced, hands-on leadership position within a reputable facilities

Qualifications

Previous contract catering experience is essential.
Experience managing a catering or café operation.
Strong food preparation and kitchen management skills.
Experience leading and motivating teams.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good commercial awareness and budget management experience.
Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or willingness to obtain).
A professional, organised and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

Managing all aspects of the catering operation.
Leading, motivating and developing a small team.
Planning menus and ordering stock.
Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.
Managing budgets, food costs and profitability.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety and company procedures.
Driving innovation and introducing new ideas to enhance the customer experience.
Monitoring food waste and operational performance.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the operation.
