A local educational institution in Lichfield is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee catering services across various lunch areas. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in managing a catering team, and a solid understanding of health regulations. This permanent position offers a salary range of £27,254 - £30,024 per year based on experience, with specific working hours during term time.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, self-motivated and committed Catering Manager with strong communication skills to join our friendly, experienced team. You would report to the Business Manager, but would also need to be able to inspire, supervise and develop a team of Catering Assistants.
The role will ensure a smooth and efficient service across 3 lunch service areas. Our ideal candidate is someone who is creative and able to use initiative, your skills in working with colleagues and young people are as important as previous catering experience. IT and administrative skills are essential.
Working hours are 6:30am – 14:30pm term-time and it would be preferred if occasional out of hours could be worked for school events. Duties to include:
