Job Title: Catering Manager

Location: Leeds, Scarborough, and Brighouse

Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday - Friday

Salary: £30,600 per annum plus benefits including a Health Cash Plan

About the Role

As a Catering Manager, you will oversee food and beverage services across our extra care facilities. Your responsibilities include managing in-house teams and café leaseholders, ensuring safety, management, and budget compliance. You will be responsible for multiple cafés within your region, maintaining a lively and welcoming environment that fosters community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing stock issues, planning menus to meet dietary requirements.
2. Conducting kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
3. Reviewing budgets, identifying savings, and maintaining quality within financial constraints.
4. Handling café contract negotiations and closures smoothly.
5. Leading daily team check-ins to boost morale and service quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous catering management or kitchen team leadership experience.
• Understanding of catering budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships.
• Experience in creating menus for diverse dietary needs.
• Must have a vehicle insured for business use; mileage costs covered.

Additional Information

This role involves hybrid working across five regional sites, with flexible hours. A DBS check will be conducted, paid for by us. Due to sponsorship limitations, we cannot currently sponsor external candidates.
