Job summary

SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL, Small Heath, Birmingham, is seeking an enthusiastic Catering Manager for a busy primary school. You will handle food preparation, stock management, lead the kitchen team, and oversee food presentation and service setup.

The role includes compliance and allergen management, with a work pattern Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 3pm. Term time only plus 3 cleaning days.

Qualifications

• Experience in school or institutional catering is preferred.
• Knowledge of allergen management and food safety compliance.
• Ability to manage a kitchen team and cope with busy service.

• Food preparation and portioning for service.
