We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work at one of our catering outlets at the University of York. The role involves working both front and back of house, providing friendly and efficient service to staff, students, and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking light snacks and plated meals according to menu guidelines, serving meals and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness. You will help uphold high standards of catering, hygiene, and health & safety.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. If you have an interest in hospitality and food preparation, full training will be provided.
Salary: £23,691.69 per annum (£12.28 per hour)
Hours: 37 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 on a 3-week rolling rota.
