Job summary

Middlesbrough College is seeking a Craft Assistant to support our Catering and Hospitality areas. This part-time, term-time role is 11 hours per week within a busy learning environment, ensuring spaces and resources are ready for practical sessions.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 2 qualification (or willingness to work towards this).
• Food Safety qualification or willingness to obtain.
• Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
• Relevant vocational qualifications within Catering and Hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Catering and Hospitality provision.
• Preparing teaching areas, equipment and resources for practical sessions.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health and safety.
• Assisting with stock control, deliveries and storage of supplies.
• Supporting staff and students within practical learning environments.
