Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Catering Assistant (Driver) to move between school sites, delivering meals and supporting service during term-time. This role requires driving a company van and providing friendly, efficient service.

You will work 11am–1pm, Monday to Friday, 37 weeks per year, with a 10-hour week and a salary of £5,211.10 per annum. Full UK driving licence is required and you will use an IFG vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or retail is helpful but not essential.
• Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Pack meals and supplies into an IFG van.
• Drive to a local school site.
• Unload, set up and serve food to students and staff.
• Return to the main kitchen site after service.
• Support the catering team to deliver a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist with basic food preparation and snack service.
• Operate the till and provide counter service.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy at all times.
