St Elizabeth’s Centre is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant for term-time only, based in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire. You’ll help provide efficient, welcoming food service for residents, students, staff and visitors, assisting with food prep, service and keeping dining areas clean.

The role supports chefs and the catering team to ensure every service runs smoothly while maintaining high hygiene standards and accurate cash handling.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work well as part of a team whilst also using your own initiative.

Aufgaben

• Keeping food, drinks, confectionery and service areas fully stocked and well presented.
• Providing friendly and helpful customer service to residents, students, staff and visitors.
• Maintaining clean, welcoming dining and restaurant areas throughout service.
• Operating the till and processing payments accurately.
• Maintaining high levels of food hygiene, cleanliness and personal presentation.
