Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team in a 37.5-hour week. The role involves supporting a high-quality catering service for patients, staff and visitors, with duties across kitchen operations and food storage. The post includes weekend work within a 6am–8pm seven-day service;

the team works to ensure food storage areas are clean, safe, and compliant with policy. This is a permanent, full-time post within the NHS Trust.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient operation and production of catering services provided to patients, staff and visitors.
• Check all areas of the kitchen before the end of shift to ensure floors, surfaces, equipment, bins and utensils are clean and stored correctly.
• Our catering service operates 7 day service 6am-8pm.
