Job summary

De Lisle College is seeking a maternity cover to join the kitchen team within the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust. The role involves supporting food service, basic prep, and dining-room cleaning while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Maternity cover in kitchen team.
• Previous catering experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support kitchen team to deliver food service with hygiene standards.
• Basic food preparation such as washing, peeling and chopping ingredients.
• Serve food and drinks to customers.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils and dining areas.
• Set up and clear dining spaces.
• Wash up and keep a clean, safe working environment.
• Support stock rotation and deliveries.
• Follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
