Job summary

De Lisle College, a Catholic school serving north Leicestershire, is seeking a Catering Assistant to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food service and excellent hygiene and customer care.

Duties include basic food preparation, serving, cleaning, setting up dining spaces, washing up, stock rotation and adherence to food hygiene and safety procedures. Prior catering experience is preferred but not essential.

• Setting up and clearing service areas and dining spaces.
• Washing up and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

• Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

  Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred but is not essential. More important is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, good communication skills and a williness to work as part of a team.
