Job summary

Forest Green Rovers Football Club is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team and work under the guidance of our Head Chef. You will gain industry experience in a fast-paced stadium environment, supporting meal preparation, service across multiple channels, and event catering on matchdays.

The role offers a supportive team, with training and opportunities to develop a catering career within the club’s progressive sustainability-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Entry level kitchen role with support from Head Chef
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene desirable
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Good communication and teamwork within a small team
• Creative, proactive, and able to work off own initiative
• Demonstrates commitment to sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in delivering FGR Food across stadium, concourse, Fan Zone and Eco Canteen
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas
• Assist with meal preparation and ingredient handling
• Support Catering Team during busy periods
• Work on Matchdays primarily in the hospitality kitchen with potential to learn other areas
