Job summary

Forest Green Rovers Football Club is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Assistant to join the F&B Team at The New Lawn. You will contribute to delivering a high-quality hospitality and bar experience across matchdays and events, working as part of a small, dynamic team.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with evenings and weekends required, including matchdays. Training and development opportunities are provided as you help grow our sustainable, community-focused hospitality operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food and beverage environment is preferred but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a small FGR Team.
• Ability to work off your own initiative and think creatively.
• Passion for sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion in line with club values.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all bars and catering units onsite.
• Work with Events Team on weddings, conferences and parties.
• Support and organise bar/catering staff.
• Clean and maintain key equipment, cellars, glass washers and fryers.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards and practices.
• Stock management including placing orders and reporting.
• Assist on Matchday delivery as part of the F&B operation.
