Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a General Assistant for a Monday to Friday 14:00-20:00 shift. You will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, handle deliveries, and serve customers as needed during events. The role may include hosting duties and vending station support.

Commercial kitchen experience is valued though not essential; training can be provided for catering basics. Strong time management and organisational skills are required, and you must be able to stand for

Qualifications

• Commercial kitchen experience is valued but not essential.
• Basic Catering and Hospitality certificate such as Food Handling or equivalent, training can be provided.
• Excellent time management skills and can work under pressure.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Help with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries and organising storage
• Serve food items to customers and may act as host/waiter during events
• Top up vending services
