Job summary

Shooters Hill Sixth Form College in London is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the busy Hospitality and Catering department on a fixed-term 1-year, full-time contract (term-time only at 39 weeks).

The successful candidate will have experience in a busy catering facility, stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively with students, staff and visitors. Knowledge of health and safety, food hygiene and allergens is essential; experience in an educational setting is advantageous.

We are currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our busy Hospitality and Catering department.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in a very busy catering facility and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Excellent communication skills are essential in this role as you will be dealing with students, staff and visitors.

You will have sound knowledge of health and safety in a catering environment and food hygiene and allergens. Previous experience of working in an educational catering environment would be advantageous.
