Imi is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our on-site catering team. You will help prepare hot and cold dishes, present appealing displays, and serve staff during lunch service.

Qualifications

• This role requires experience in catering or hospitality and delivering customer service.
• Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety standards is desirable.

• Maintain high standards in food presentation and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and presenting food for lunchtime service (12:00-14:00) in line with hygiene standards.
• Display food attractively and monitor presentation throughout service.
• Serve employees promptly and politely to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Clean and sanitise work surfaces and equipment after use.
• Wash, dry, and store dishes and utensils after service.
• Replenish stock levels and monitor supplies to avoid shortages.
• Support Chef Team Leader with ad hoc duties to maintain efficiency.
• Help manage stock levels to prevent waste and coordinate with suppliers.
