Sherburn Housing Charity is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant for Beddell House Care Home in Durham. You will contribute to high-quality catering, assist with meal preparation, serving, and ensuring a welcoming dining environment.

You will uphold food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards, support residents at mealtimes with dignity, and work closely with care staff to meet dietary needs.

• Assist in preparation, service, and presentation of meals.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, deliver and serve meals and beverages to residents.
• Maintain cleaning and safety of kitchen and dining areas.
• Monitor stock, rotate supplies and dispose of out-of-date food.
• Support residents during mealtimes, promoting dignity and choice.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene policies.
