Job summary

Stirling Council in Scotland is seeking two part-time Catering Assistants to support Corbiewood Primary School. Roles are term-time, with two shift options: 11.30am–1.30pm or 12.00pm–2.00pm, Monday–Friday. PVG for Children is required; training provided where needed.

Initially based at one location, with possible movement as required by the service. The role includes food preparation, basic cooking, food service, and upholding kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards.

We have an opportunity for two catering assistants to join our team to support Corbiewood Primary School. There are two shift patterns available:

• Post one - Monday- Friday, 11.30am-1.30pm
• Post two- Monday- Friday, 12.00pm-2.00pm

Are you motivated, interested and takes pride in ensuring that a high standard of food preparation and service is maintained. Duties will include the preparation of food, basic cooking, food service, kitchen hygiene and health and safety, ensuring compliance with the Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act and subsequent legislation. Experience in Catering is not essential as training on job and compulsory off job training will be provided. You will be initially based at one location but will be required to move location with appropriate notice as the service requires
