Norse Catering at The Clare School in Norwich is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant for Fridays, 12:00–13:30, term-time only. You will help prepare and serve lunches for students and staff, ensuring a friendly and hygienic service.

Previous catering experience is preferable, and extensive induction and training are provided to help you adapt to a commercial setting. A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.

Catering Assistant required at The Clare School

£12.71/hour, equivalent to £25,777.12 pro-rata

1.5 hours per week

12pm to 1.30pm Fridays.

As we continue to deliver our key frontline services across the region, we are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to work on-site at The Clare School. This position is being offered on a permanent, part time basis, working every Friday, 12pm to 1.30pm Term-Time only.

A day in the life:

You will become an integral part of the school team, supporting with the preparation and serving of lunches for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for all.

Upholding our high level of hygiene and cleanliness is vital which includes setting up service areas from the kitchen or dining areas, so they are ready to enjoy mealtimes and tidying away once service is completed.

If you have previous catering experience, then we would love to hear from you.

However, we have worked hard to create an extensive induction and excellent training programmes that means if you enjoy home cooking and baking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment!
