NHS Highland invites applications for a Kitchen Staff role within Highland Health and Social Care Services. You will be involved in preparation, cooking and serving of nutritious meals and snacks to residents, following a six week menu plan.
Responsibilities include producing food with standard recipes, maintaining a clean environment, and complying with infection control standards; shifts follow a three week rota (9-4.45, 9-4, 9-3). Weekend pay enhancements and holiday rates apply as described.

To produce food using standard recipes’ in line with policies and procedures ensuring standards are met.
To maintain a clean environment and comply with infection control standards.
The shifts follow a three week rota working hours 9-4.45pm, 9-4pm and 9-3pm on a Tuesday. There is one weekend working in the three weeks for which successful applicants are paid 44% enhancement for Saturday working and 88% enhancement for Sunday working. Public holidays are paid at double time.
Applicants should have experience in working with people in a care setting. Ability to undertake any relevant training.
