POST: Catering Assistant
LOCATION: Shireland CBSO Academy
GRADE: Band A SCP 2 - £23,656 per annum pro rata
SALARY: £11,655 per annum
HOURS: 20 hours per week (you will be required to work some evening/academy events), term time + 2 weeks.
The Academy
Shireland CBSO Academy is an exciting new school that opened to Year 7 in September 2023 and is the first state school in the country to have a partnership with a professional orchestra. Based in Providence Place, West Bromwich, the Academy works in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and serves all of Sandwell and the wider West Midlands. The Academy is for all students who have a passion or talent for music – they do not necessarily need to already play an instrument.
Shireland CBSO Academy is part of the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust providing staff with opportunities to progress both within the school, and across the Trust.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant who will work as part of a team assisting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and refreshments and general kitchen cleaning
